Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Perform safe patient transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention measures
- Accurately document care provided and maintain clear communication across shifts
- Support mealtime and personal hygiene needs while preserving resident dignity
- Work cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification
- Must be able to work both weekends and reliably cover scheduled shifts
- Must have own housing for the assignment
- Must have reliable own transportation (local taxi not acceptable per facility notes)
- Available for a travel assignment from 2026-02-09 through 2026-04-16 (10-week assignment)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong skills in personal care, bathing, dressing, and assistance with ADLs
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observing resident condition
- Good documentation practices and clear verbal communication
- Infection control awareness and safe patient handling techniques
- Teamwork, time management, and a positive bedside manner
