Shift Type: Rotating 7 on / 7 off schedule with day-focused daily rounds and home call (exact shift start/end times vary by rotation) - rotating day coverage with on-call responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient child neurology care, managing a broad range of pediatric neurological conditions
- Lead daily rounds and coordinate care across NICU, PICU, inpatient floors and the ER
- Manage high-level ICU neurology cases with sound clinical judgment and teamwork
- Perform and interpret continuous EEG monitoring and write clear, timely EEG reports
- Serve as a regional consultant across a multi-state referral area to ensure continuity of specialized care
- Collaborate closely with pediatric specialists, neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Child Neurology (required)
- Experience in inpatient child neurology and pediatric ICU management
- Demonstrated competency in continuous EEG monitoring and EEG reporting
- Comfortable providing consultations in NICU, PICU, ER and inpatient settings
- Ability to provide home call coverage as part of a 7 on / 7 off schedule
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Education
- Medical degree and completion of child neurology training (BE/BC in Child Neurology)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in child neurology and inpatient pediatric neurological care
- Continuous EEG monitoring and interpretation, plus report writing
- Pediatric ICU management and complex inpatient decision-making
- Consultative skills across NICU, PICU, ER and general pediatric floors
- Ability to work within a regional referral system and coordinate care across institutions
