Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia care across OR, Cath Lab and Endoscopy settings
- Administer regional anesthesia and perform nerve blocks for a wide range of procedures
- Deliver high-quality perioperative care for patients of varying acuity in a Level III trauma center
- Collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate equitably in call rotations and ensure coverage for weekends as needed
- Adhere to Oregon state statutes, facility policies and Medical Staff bylaws in all clinical practice
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional standards
- Support a collegial practice environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Active CRNA certification (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
- Minimum of 1 year of CRNA experience (new graduates not accepted)
- Ability to practice independently in accordance with Oregon statutes and facility policies
- Willingness to reside within the immediate local area (relocation may be required)
- Clean malpractice history/background required
- Job requires submission of NPDB self-query report
- This position is not available to Locum candidates
Education
- CRNA certification (advanced practice nursing degree such as MSN or DNP is typical/expected)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in anesthesia and anesthesia-related care
- Proficiency with regional anesthesia and various nerve block techniques
- Experience in OR, Cath Lab and Endoscopy anesthesia
- Ability to manage trauma and high-acuity patients
- Comfort with healthy pediatric cases (peds limited as noted)
- Strong perioperative clinical decision-making and situational awareness
- Excellent teamwork and clear communication with physicians and staff
- Familiarity with independent CRNA practice and regulatory compliance
