Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care including deliveries, gynecologic surgery, and outpatient visits
- Deliver babies at a facility with a Level II NICU and collaborate with University of Cincinnati MFM for complex cases
- Work collaboratively with certified nurse-midwives and the broader care team to deliver patient-centered care
- Participate in a shared call rotation to support continuity of care across the practice
- Mentor and support new graduates and contribute to a collegial learning environment
- Engage with the Cincinnati east-side community to provide compassionate, mission-driven care
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree and completion of an accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligibility for or possession of an active Ohio medical license
- Comfort and experience with deliveries, gynecologic surgery, and outpatient OB/GYN care
- Ability to collaborate with MFM specialists and work alongside certified nurse-midwives
- Willingness to participate in a 1:6 shared call schedule
- New graduates are welcome with provided mentorship; experienced physicians encouraged to apply
- Not accepting Locum candidates; no 1099 contractors; J-1 and H-1B visa support not available
Education
- MD or DO
- Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in obstetric care including labor and deliveries
- Proficient in gynecologic surgical procedures and perioperative management
- Experienced in outpatient gynecology and continuity care
- Familiarity with Level II NICU workflows and neonatal coordination
- Strong collaborative skills for working with MFM specialists and certified nurse-midwives
- Effective communicator with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams
- Mentorship and teaching capability for new graduates
