Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for multiple facilities from a central command center
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
Accurately document and communicate critical findings to local nursing staff
Follow proper communication channels during routine and emergency situations
Contribute to improved patient outcomes and department performance metrics

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms (one attempt only)
Ability to work 2-3 day shifts for orientation if assigned to nights
Must commit exclusively to this assignment with no other concurrent jobs

Knowledge & Skills

Remote cardiac monitoring expertise
Advanced arrhythmia detection and interpretation
Strong attention to detail in high-volume patient surveillance
Clear and professional communication during critical situations
Familiarity with GE and Ascom monitoring equipment
