Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids start at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons across a wide range of procedures including total joints, general, vascular, spine, and CVOR cases
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while ensuring patient safety throughout every case
Collaborate with the OR team to deliver exceptional care for trauma, ortho, neuro, ENT, and lung procedures
Utilize Cerner Surginet to document and support seamless surgical workflows
Respond to on-call needs, providing critical support during weeknights and occasional weekends

Qualifications

Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR
Current Surgical Tech certification and relevant state requirements
Ability to work 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, pacers, and lead extractions
Comfortable with a variety of surgical specialties from trauma to ENT
Strong sterile technique and attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced OR environment
