Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple PCU/IMC specialties
Manage and titrate cardiac drips including dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, and amiodarone
Monitor patients receiving insulin, heparin, and ativan drips with precision and care
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support various units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different patient populations from post-surgical to stable long-term placement

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and management
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and drip management skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities within a 60-mile zone
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Experience with insulin, heparin, and ativan titration protocols
Comfort working with diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical
