Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert ventilator management and respiratory support for adult and pediatric patients
Deliver compassionate care in a strong level 2 nursery, confidently managing bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up
Perform ABG draws, BiPAP and ventilator setups, and nebulizer treatments with precision
Stand by for conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures to ensure patient safety
Assist with intubations as part of a collaborative care team
Support a busy inpatient unit handling approximately 25 treatments daily

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Proven NICU experience with strong level 2 nursery competency
Skilled in ventilator management and bubble CPAP
Comfortable working independently on night shifts with a supportive lead therapist on every shift

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment
Bubble CPAP and BiPAP setup expertise
ABG sampling and analysis
Neonatal care for 32 weeks and older
Team collaboration with 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist support
