Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating support across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and general procedures
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient care
Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support the broader care team
Maintain flexibility as daily schedules shift and new cases arise
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues to foster a culture of continuous learning
Uphold strict safety standards and infection-control protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties with comfort across all service lines
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90 percent
Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
Willingness to comply with the facility's no-artificial-nails policy

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Comfort working in a 7-OR, 2-endo-suite environment
Experience with DaVinci robotic cases and trauma response
Ability to adapt quickly to varied daily case mixes
Strong teamwork and communication skills
