Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with elective cases Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and expertise
Build a positive culture while enhancing nursing competency across teams
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cases
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex critical care patients
Mentor staff and foster professional growth in a collaborative environment
Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and hold care with attention to detail
Float to support other departments as a helping hand when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency required
Critical care and telemetry experience strongly preferred
Fluoro license helpful for technical staff support

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership skills to build team culture and enhance competency
Expertise in vasoactive drips, moderate sedation, and critical care monitoring
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips confidently
Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment
Comfort managing cardiac, vascular, EP, IR, and non-invasive cardiology cases
