Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for a variety of procedures including total joints, general surgery, spine, and urology cases
Assist surgeons by scrubbing in and providing essential instruments during high-volume ortho, vascular, and general surgeries
Maintain sterile fields and ensure all equipment is properly organized and ready for each case
Collaborate with charge nurses and specialty leads to deliver exceptional patient care
Document procedures accurately using the Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a Surgical Tech
Hands-on experience with Ortho, Vascular, and General Surgery procedures
Strong scrubbing skills and attention to detail
Ability to work call shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in scrubbing techniques
Familiar with Cerner electronic medical records
Knowledge of sterile processing and OR protocols
Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume surgical environments
