Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support diverse patient populations and specialties
Monitor cardiac and neurological patients while safely titrating Heparin drips
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying unit needs from Cardiac and Neuro to Oncology, Ortho, and Trauma
Provide education and emotional support to adult and geriatric patients and their families

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience strongly preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work flexible schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical units
Comfort managing cardiac drips and monitoring neurological patients
Excellent communication and adaptability when floating between facilities
Ability to work collaboratively with nurse aides and interdisciplinary teams
