Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs using centralized telemetry
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Maintain sterile field techniques and support safe procedural environments
Educate patients and families about recovery from CVAs, spine procedures, and cranial surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Willingness to complete a sterile field exam on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong neuro assessment and post-operative care skills
Proficient in EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
Knowledge of stroke care including post-TPA management
Excellent sterile technique and infection prevention practices
Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
