Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10-hour shifts available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services across inpatient acute care and outpatient settings
Deliver compassionate care to diverse patient populations from pediatrics through geriatrics
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support early mobility programs and stroke recovery
Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary conditions
Float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings as needed to support patient care
Contribute to JCAHO-certified stroke care and total joint replacement programs

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation techniques
Geriatric and pediatric patient care
Early mobility protocols
Stroke rehabilitation (NIH certified)
Total joint replacement therapy
Home health therapy experience
Cerner electronic medical records system
