Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating schedule with every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse overseeing daily operations and resident care
Administer medications safely and accurately to support resident well-being
Perform wound care with attention to detail and resident comfort
Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team including PT and social services
Monitor and respond to changes in resident conditions with compassion
Maintain accurate documentation using the Matrix EMR system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Prior long-term care experience preferred
Strong assessment and medication administration skills
Ability to work independently as charge nurse

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable managing residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Skilled in medication passing and basic wound care
Familiar with oxygen concentrators and portable units
Able to provide care without IVs or titratable drips
Experience working in smaller, close-knit care settings
