Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and orthopedics
Monitor and manage patients on heparin drips while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float within Zone 4 facilities to support staffing needs and expand clinical expertise
Document patient care accurately using EPIC and respond promptly to telemetry monitoring needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Preferred neuro experience and familiarity with Alaris pumps and EPIC charting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Ability to float across multiple units and adapt quickly to new environments
Experience with cardiac monitoring, neuro assessments, and post-surgical care
Comfortable working with nurse aids and designated charge support
