Surgical Technologist - Operating Room
Location: Kearney, NE
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with call requirements (one weeknight per week and three weekend days per month)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field for a variety of surgeries, including neuro, ortho, and general OR cases
- Assist surgeons during orthopedic trauma, total joint, and cranial procedures
- Independently perform cranial procedures as a scrub tech
- Operate advanced robotic systems like Davinci, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
- Ensure patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols, including the artificial nail policy
- Float to other areas as needed and take call with a 15-minute response time
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- CST certification preferred but not required
- Must have orthopedic trauma experience and ability to scrub independently
- Proficient in cranial procedures and comfortable with neuro call
- Experience with EPIC EMR and robotic surgery systems preferred
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
