Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with flexible start times; block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure smooth case flow across 22-45 daily procedures
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes to support life-saving interventions
Float to Main OR for vascular cases when needed, expanding your skill set and impact

Qualifications

Active Washington state license required
Current BLS certification
Robotics experience preferred but not required; training provided on Da Vinci XI system
Scrub experience preferred for RNs but not mandatory
Ability to take 8-9 call shifts per month including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures
Familiarity with EPIC EMR documentation
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with 4 CVOR suites
Willingness to learn robotics and support both open and minimally invasive cases
