Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator-dependent patients with safe, evidence-based ventilator management
• Perform ABG collection and analysis to guide clinical decisions
• Provide high-flow oxygen therapy, bronchodilator therapy, and airway clearance treatments
• Assist with intubation and tracheostomy care when needed and participate in code blue responses
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate patient transport safely
• Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT required
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Approximately 1 year ICU experience preferred (high-acuity skillset appreciated)
• Demonstrated competence in ventilator management and emergency response

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with Drager ventilators and Philips V60 ventilator systems
• Familiarity with Vapotherm, Metaneb and high-flow O2 therapy devices
• Skilled in ABG collection/analysis and bronchodilator therapy
• Comfortable with Meditech documentation system and clinical charting
• Strong patient assessment, airway management, and code response abilities
