Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Provide specialized NICU respiratory support while maintaining independence and sound clinical judgment
Cover all hospital areas including ICU, surgical, medical, cardiac, and emergency services

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential
Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment in diverse patient populations
Proficiency with multiple ventilator platforms and high-flow systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working across all hospital departments
