Roles & Responsibilities

• Safely transfer inpatients between units and to procedures, using proper techniques and equipment
• Monitor telemetry and recognize/respond to changes in patient cardiac rhythms
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document care accurately using Capacity Management and iMobile device
• Operate and troubleshoot transport equipment like Stryker stretchers, Hill-Rom beds, and wheelchairs
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining safety and efficiency during transports

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (telemetry/transport preferred)
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) required
• Proven ability to lift and transfer patients safely
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable using EMR systems (Capacity Management) and mobile charting devices

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) practices
• Patient transfer techniques and safe lifting
• Familiarity with EMR - Capacity Management and iMobile device
• Experience with transport equipment (Stryker stretchers, Hill-Rom beds, wheelchairs)
• Clear, professional communication with clinical teams and patients
