Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill children in the PICU
Monitor and assess patients' conditions and respond to changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate and support families throughout their child's hospitalization

Qualifications

Current RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience preferred
BLS and PALS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in pediatric critical care nursing
Proficiency in using ventilators, IV pumps, and monitoring equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent assessment and problem-solving abilities
