Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with 30-minute meal break. Specific date: July 11, 2026.

Candidate Pay Rate: $43 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania (or compact license)
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Skilled in IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration
Understanding of geriatric nursing principles
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
