Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Titrate and manage critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and monitor patient rhythms with precision
Manage arterial lines and support patients requiring high-flow oxygen therapy
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Champion patient experience through clear communication and responsiveness

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in arterial line management
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and rhythm analysis
Safe titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
Arterial line monitoring and maintenance
High-flow oxygen equipment management
Patient assessment across diverse cultural populations
Clear communication and adaptability in a team setting
