Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible scheduling, 6-hour shifts

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients, monitoring vital signs and ensuring safe recovery
Assess and manage pain levels, administering medications as needed
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Educate families on post-operative care and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications

Current RN license in Ohio
BLS certification required; PALS preferred
At least 1 year of PACU or critical care experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pediatric post-anesthesia care protocols
Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Excellent critical thinking and assessment abilities
