Shift Type: Flexible shifts, 12.5-hour shifts as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Neuro Stepdown unit
Monitor and assess neurological status of patients
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on condition and care plan
Document patient progress and communicate changes to healthcare team

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Experience in neuro or stepdown care is a plus
New graduates are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of neurological assessment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
