Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
Monitor and manage patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, and post-surgical needs
Titrate heparin drips and manage other medications as needed
Float throughout Zone 4 facilities within a 60-mile radius to support staffing needs
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units including ICU holds, PCU, and MS-Tele as patient needs arise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to various patient acuities
Strong communication skills and flexibility with scheduling needs

Knowledge & Skills

MS-Tele nursing experience with diverse patient populations
Familiarity with Alaris pumps and EPIC documentation preferred
Neuro experience is a plus
Comfort with floating to Cardiac, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Ortho, and Trauma units
Ability to read cardiac strips and manage stable long-term placement patients
