Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary as scheduled), 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for residents
Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Maintain accurate clinical records and follow facility policies
Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
Eligible to practice in Maine (state licensure required)
Comfortable working per diem shifts, including night hours
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and teamwork mindset
Willingness to complete facility onboarding and background checks

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN or LPN program as applicable)
Relevant state licensure (RN or LPN) required

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and care planning skills
Medication administration and basic treatments
Clear, professional communication with patients and team
Accurate charting and documentation practices
Infection control and basic safety procedures
Ability to prioritize and manage time during overnight shifts
