Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 15-bed LDRP unit
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips to ensure the safest outcomes for mom and baby
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin with precision and care
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed, showcasing your versatility and adaptability
Collaborate with CNAs and surgical techs to deliver seamless patient support
Follow AWHONN guidelines to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios
Document thoroughly in Meditech while meeting quality metrics and best practices

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Strong critical thinking and adaptability to change
Willingness to float to Med-Surg and ER as needed

Philips telemetry monitoring systems
TraceView/PIP electronic fetal monitoring
