Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Magnesium and Oxytocin
Support families through the beautiful journey of childbirth and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with providers during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries
Deliver expert neonatal care including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow support
Float to other units as a helping hand when needed, making a difference across the hospital

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Experience with EFM systems and OB Trace Vue preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of antepartum, labor, and postpartum medications
Ability to troubleshoot neonatal respiratory equipment
