Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to adults in the ICU with confidence and compassion
• Monitor and assess complex patient conditions, including ventilator and hemodynamic support
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, following unit protocols
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and collaborate in multidisciplinary code and rapid response situations
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record and communicate clear handoffs to the care team
• Coach and educate patients and families on care plans and recovery expectations, offering empathy and clarity
• Contribute to unit-level quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current, active RN credential (Registered Nurse)
• ICU experience as noted in the posting
• Comfort and demonstrated skill working 12-hour critical care shifts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Ability to pass standard background and health screening requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in ventilator management and titration of advanced respiratory support
• Proficient with hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive infusions
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization in high-acuity settings
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and accurate clinical documentation
• Familiarity with common ICU equipment and electronic health record usage
