Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate emergency care across multiple facilities in the Zone 1 float pool
Assess and treat a wide variety of patients from abdominal pain to trauma and stroke
Interpret telemetry and perform point-of-care testing to support rapid diagnosis
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and techs to keep the department running smoothly
Float between Penrose, St. Francis, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More as needed
Maintain accurate documentation and respond quickly to changing patient needs

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
Recent ER/ED experience with strong telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to different facility workflows

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring
Point-of-care lab testing
Managing standard ER drips and medications
Caring for diverse patient populations including trauma, stroke, and STEMI cases
Adapting quickly to new units and floating between facilities
