Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow
Communicate with physicians about changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic results
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response
Meet psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of patients and families

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
ENPC, TNCC, TNS preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong emergency nursing skills
Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking
Effective communication with healthcare team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
