Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and create compassionate, individualized care plans
• Administer dialysis treatments safely and according to facility protocols
• Monitor patient response, vital signs, and access sites throughout treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient care
• Document treatments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and promptly
• Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures, access care, and self-management
• Maintain strict infection control and equipment safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state-specific requirements apply)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (experience in dialysis strongly preferred)
• Comfortable and experienced with dialysis patients, machines, and access care
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to travel assignment expectations
• Professional communication skills and teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dialysis treatment delivery and monitoring
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Familiarity with infection control and vascular access care
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting skills
• Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
