Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient conditions with vigilance and clinical judgment
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to protocol
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes clearly and promptly
Provide compassionate patient and family education and support
Respond to emergent situations calmly and effectively, prioritizing safety

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license — New Mexico licensure expected for local practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged where relevant
Clinical experience in acute or post-acute settings is a strong plus
Comfortable working overnight hours and functioning independently when needed
Strong communication skills and an ability to work well on a collaborative care team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough patient assessment and monitoring skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Skilled in clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively during busy shifts
Strong interpersonal skills for patient, family, and team interactions
