Physical Therapist

Location: Sault St. Marie, Michigan

Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: Flexible, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Rotating weekends (4 per year), occasional holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Bill Rate: $37.00+ per hour (based on experience)

Benefits

$20,000 sign on bonus, 2-year commitment
Agency Placement Fee: 25%
Salary Range: $37.00+ (goes up based on experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functions through formal and informal testing measures
Develop and implement goal-specific treatment plans
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
Provide supervision for Physical Therapist Assistants and aides
Document patient progress and treatment plans

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Physical Therapist license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire
Successful completion of MyMichigan Health orientation and competency assessments

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Physical therapy standards and practices
Patient assessment and treatment planning
Communication and interpersonal skills
Microsoft Windows proficiency
