Location: Lakeview, Oregon

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to restore maximum independence.
Collaborate with families and healthcare team members to set meaningful goals and ensure holistic care.
Direct and assist patients in therapeutic activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Serve as a resource and educator for patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Oregon OT license (or eligibility)
Current CPR certification
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification preferred
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
ACP Training completion preferred
Valid Oregon driver's license
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of OT assessment and intervention for physical disabilities
Understanding of rehabilitation procedures and medical/surgical concepts
Team-based approach to patient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and ability to support others
