Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercises, ADL training, and adaptive equipment instruction
• Conduct home assessments and recommend environmental adaptations to improve safety and function
• Train patients and families on transfer techniques, energy conservation, and proper use of adaptive devices
• Apply sensorimotor and visual perceptual-motor remediation techniques for patients with neurological needs
• Design and implement prevocational programs and prosthetic training when indicated
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, represent the organization professionally in the community, and participate in quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license required (or actively in process)
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
• Solid skills in OT evaluations, treatment planning, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Strong documentation skills and understanding of regulatory compliance and HIPAA
• Reliable, professional demeanor with ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams

Education

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
