Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET/CT and SPECT
- Operate advanced Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs equipment
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient safety
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and proper documentation
- Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety policies
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- PET experience is a must have
- DOT certification preferred but can be obtained within 90 days of extension
- Valid driver's license required for radius verification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs (training available if needed)
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine physics and radiopharmacy
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
