Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Omaha, NE
Start Date: 06-16-2026
End Date: 09-15-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM equipment
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure patient safety during scans
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide compassionate care
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging quality
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to radiation safety protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification required
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) certification required
- DOT certification preferred at start, required within 90 days
- Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program
- Experience with Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM (training available)
- Valid driver's license for distance verification
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration
- Experience with Siemens PET/CT and E.CAM systems
- Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
