Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-09-2026
End Date: 09-08-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac, spect, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
- Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment with precision and care
- Collaborate with the lead tech and in-house radiologist to deliver quality imaging
- Maintain accurate documentation using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
- Provide compassionate patient care during each study
- Float to Mercy Downtown location when needed to support team coverage
Qualifications
- Active CA NMTL license required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Nuclear Medicine imaging expertise
- Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity systems
- Strong attention to detail and patient safety
- Ability to manage a caseload of 5-10 studies per day
