Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement and evaluate
• Provide direct care to pediatric and adult patients before and after surgical procedures
• Lead clinically on the floor and assist with precepting new staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, effective patient care
• Manage admissions through discharge, including comprehensive discharge planning
• Give direction to LPNs, CNAs and support staff while receiving guidance from providers and nursing leadership

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state licensure as required for assignment)
• Experience in Med/Surg nursing caring for pediatric and adult patients
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and precepting experience
• Ability to assess patients and implement established policies with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
