Location: Bennington, Vermont

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with 30-minute meal break, weekends required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, hands-on care to residents at Bennington Care Center
Administer medications and treatments under the direction of registered nurses and physicians
Monitor patient health and report changes to the care team promptly
Assist with daily living activities and support resident independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Vermont or compact state
Minimum one year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Current BLS certification
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work weekends as required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
Ability to build trusting relationships with residents and families
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced care environment
