Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to facility protocols
Monitor resident status, document changes, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity and independence
Support care planning and participate in team huddles to optimize resident outcomes
Maintain accurate charting and follow infection control and safety practices at all times

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse license (LPN) in Massachusetts or compact state eligibility where applicable
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and adapting to per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred

Education

Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and resident assessment
Good clinical documentation and charting practices
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in urgent situations
Compassionate interpersonal skills for building rapport with residents and families
