Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and report changes promptly
• Document care accurately and thoroughly in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
• Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license in New Mexico (or RN license if applying as an RN)
• Recent clinical experience in a similar care setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on night shifts and communicate effectively
• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent for LPNs
• Associate degree in Nursing or BSN preferred for RN candidates

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and observation skills
• Medication administration and documentation expertise
• Comfortable with wound care, vital signs monitoring, and basic procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
