Location: Skowhegan, ME

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (varies), nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform assessments and document patient status and changes clearly
Collaborate with the care team to implement personalized care plans
Support residents with ADLs and ensure a safe, comfortable environment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the appropriate state or ability to obtain it
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care
Good communication skills and ability to work independently on night shifts
Relevant clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program (diploma or certificate)
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
Patient assessment, vital signs, and documentation best practices
Infection control principles and safe care techniques
Comfortable using electronic health records and clear charting
Strong observational skills and clinical judgment during overnight hours
