Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night (overnight 12.5-hour shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to maintain patient comfort
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Engage with patients and families respectfully to promote dignity and trust

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Demonstrated experience as a CNA preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of patient safety and infection control practices

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA program or equivalent training
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and assistance with ADLs
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Accurate documentation and time management
Professional, compassionate communication with patients and families
