Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
• Document care accurately in the facility record system to ensure continuity
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver coordinated, person-centered care
• Be a calming, respectful presence for patients and their families during shifts

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — active and in good standing
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable with basic patient care tasks, transfers, and vital signs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety procedures
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control best practices
• Ability to assist with ADLs and mobility support safely
• Basic documentation skills and comfort learning electronic charting
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with patients and staff
