Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic exams across adult and pediatric populations, ensuring diagnostic images meet department standards
• Position patients safely and compassionately for X-ray, portable/bedside, and C-arm procedures
• Operate imaging equipment including GE, Philips, O-ARM and PACS with attention to radiation safety
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required and follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Chart accurately in Epic and communicate findings or concerns to the care team
• Support emergency, ICU, NICU and OR settings as needed with calm, efficient imaging services
• Maintain infection prevention best practices and contribute to a safe patient care environment

Qualifications

• Active Oregon state radiologic technologist license required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) certification preferred
• Fluoro permit and fluoroscopy experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in a large acute care or similar facility preferred (Providence Saint Vincent-like)
• Comfortable with bedside/portable procedures, C-arm/surgical imaging, and pediatric/NICU exposures
• Familiarity with Epic charting system and with PACS workflows

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography (X-Ray) fundamentals and patient positioning
• Portable and bedside imaging procedures
• C-Arm procedures and intraoperative imaging support
• Radiation safety and contrast media preparation/administration
• Epic electronic charting and PACS image management
• Infection prevention and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with GE and Philips imaging equipment, O-ARM and Carestream familiarity is a plus
• Ability to work across adult and pediatric populations, including NICU and ER settings
