Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform EEG recordings across inpatient and outpatient settings for pediatric and adult patients
• Place and verify electrodes accurately to ensure high-quality EEG data
• Conduct ambulatory EEGs, sleep-deprived studies, portable recordings and long term video monitoring
• Operate portable EEG equipment in ICU, NICU and PICU environments when needed
• Assist with ECI brain death testing and other specialized procedures
• Document findings and chart care promptly in Epic
• Respond to on-call requests and support continuous monitoring needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of EEG tech experience; 1st timers with relevant training may be considered
• Experience in teaching hospital and Trauma Level I environments is required
• Comfort working with adult ICU, NICU and PICU patients
• Proven experience with ambulatory EEG, long term monitoring, video monitoring and sleep studies
• Epic charting experience required
• Certifications: BLS listed; EEG Cert/Registration and R.EEGT are preferred (please screen and verify)
• Willingness to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotation

• Long term monitoring and video-EEG techniques
• Sleep and sleep-deprived EEG procedures
• Portable EEG recording in ICU, NICU and PICU settings
• Familiarity with Epic charting and documentation
• Experience with ECI brain death protocols
